Training Program on Photography

Department of WebTechnology and Multimedia conducted three days Training Program on Photography from August 1^st,2^nd and 3^rd under RUSA(Rashtriya Uchchathar Shiksha Abhiyan)in Coordination with IQAC. II and III B.Voc (Web Technology and Multimedia) students and Community College Diploma ITeS students attended this training program. Mr. G.Balaji sir and Mr.G.Shivajih sir are the resource persons for this Training program. They defined what is Photography and the carrier opportunities in this field. They explained clearly how to choose backgrounds while taking photography. Later on the second day they explained the camera features, difference between the mobile lens and camera lens. The types lenses used in photography. Mr.Shivajih sir explained some techniques to appear beautiful while taking photography. Mr.Balaji sir explained the colour meanings for selecting the backgrounds. He explained some techniques for those who are having spectacles.

            On the third day of training program MR. G.Balaji sir and Mr.G.Shivajih sir gave their Cameras and lenses and explained them practically how to take beautiful photos. Students utilised the opportunity and learned how to take photos. They took some photos with the cameras. Some students carried their personnel cameras and learned how to capture the photos. Later in our III B.Voc(WTM) lab Mr.Shivajih sir explained the lighting techniques. Generally we will get shadow effect when there is heavy light. To remove that shadow effect photographers use white umbrella. The umbrella softens the light so that we will not shadow effect. For farther object we have to use heavy light. For nearer object we have soften the light.

            

By these three days students of Web Technology and Multimedia and Community college utilised the session and learned many interesting techniques which are very useful for their Film Making course.
